Symposium "Tiles: A living history". A 5-day symposium of lectures, exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, demonstrations, tile auction and sale, highlighting the historic tiles of southeastern Pennsylvania and the role of history in contemporary tile work. Commemorating the centennial of Henry Chapman Mercer’s Moravian Pottery and Tile Works. October 13-17, 1998, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
