Museum The former stoneware tile factory of Gréber at Beauvais (1911) has been fitted up as "Ecomusée des pays de l'Oise" (Oise Living Museum). This factory, covered with beautiful tiles, totally restorated and recently recognised as an historic monument, is a good example of reuse of industrial buildings. 17 rue du Pré-Martinet, 60000 Beauvais.
Museum Musée Henri Dupuis, 9 rue Henri Dupuis, 62500 Saint-Omer. "La cuisine flamande" (the flemish kitchen). The walls and the chimney of the kitchen are covered with Dutch tiles and tiles made in the northern part of France (Lille, Desvres). Several tile pictures depict saints, animals, a fruit-basket, a turkish soldier and a scissors-grinder based on a painting of David Teniers. Annual meeting The "Vrienden van Het Nederlands Tegelmuseum" (Friends of the Dutch Tile Museum) have their annual meeting on Saturday 28 September, 2002 at 10.00 am in Gouda. Several lectures in Dutch on Gouda tiles and maiolica; in the afternoon a visit of the above mentioned exhibition on Gouda tiles and maiolica.
